B.93 har søndag 24. august glæden af at byde Pink Pub to the Arctic Circle velkommen på Svanemølleanlægget, når holdet lægger vejen forbi Danmark på en unik velgørenhedstur, der byder på fem kampe i fem lande på fem dage.

Pink Pub to the Arctic Circle er et initiativ sat i søen af en gruppe engelske fodboldvenner fra Sussex-området med det formål at ære mindet om deres afdøde ven James Palmer-Bullock, som ledte de ugentlige fodboldtræninger om torsdagen.
Gutterne har valgt at bruge turen til at indsamle til lokale velgørenhedsprojekter, som stod tæt til James Palmer-Bullock’s hjerte. Alle donationer i forbindelse med turen går derfor henholdsvis til Children on the Edge og The Sussex Snowdrop Trust med 50 % til hver.
Children on the Edge giver vital støtte til udsatte børn over hele verden.
The Sussex Snowdrop Trust tilbyder sygepleje og financial støtte til børn med livstruende sygdomme.
Du kan følge Pink Pub to the Arctic Circle på deres sociale medie kanaler og vælge at donere et beløb. På de sociale medier kan du finde omtale i den engelske presse, videoer fra turen om indsamlingensindsatsen og lære James Palmer-Bullock at kende.
Holdet har også indgået et samarbejde med Veo Technologies, så kampene på turen bliver livestreamet.
Den unikke tur med fem kampe i fem lande på fem dage har endestation i det smukt beliggende Henningsvær Stadion på Lofoten i Norge.
Turen betales selv af hver deltager og foregår udelukkende med offentlig transport (ingen fly) via først Bruxelles, Hamborg , København, Stockholm og så til sidst arktiske Henningsvær.
I København bliver kampen mod et udvalgt B.93 seniorhold på fodboldbanerne på Svanemølleanlægget.
Hvorfor B.93?
B.93 blev udvalgt som den danske klub på turen på grund af den kulturelle indlydelse på kunsten, som B.93 has arbejdet målrettet med over de sidste par år med forskellige typer af samarbejde
Joe Hepworth fra The Pink Pub to the Arctic Circle holdet uddyber:
– B.93 blev bevidst valgt på grund af det kulturelle var en vigtig og integreret del af James’ liv. James var manager for DJ Max Cooper og started en bevægelse under navnet The Chamber of Culture, som arbejdede for at udvikle mennesker og stedet i kunsten.
– Da vi hørte fra Jon Pilkington, om hans kærlighed for Liverpool, præcis som James, og hvordan Jon havde samarbejdet med B.93 om trøjedesign, stod det klart for os, at Boldklubben af 1893 var den perfekte klub for os at kontakte.
– Vi så os nødsaget til at række ud, og B.93 var meget åbne for at arbejde sammen med os om turen lige fra begyndelsen.
– Nu ser vi meget frem til vores oplevelser I København og de andre byer og lande på turen.

B.93 is pleased to welcome Pink Pub to the Arctic Circle at Svanemølleanlægget facility Sunday, August 24, when the team stops by Denmark on a unique charity tour with five matches in five countries in five days.
Pink Pub to the Arctic Circle is an initiative launched by a group of English football friends from the Sussex area with the aim of honoring the memory of their friend James Palmer-Bullock, who led the weekly football training sessions on Thursdays.
The group have chosen to use the tour to raise money for two incredible charities close to James’s heart. All money raised from the tour will be donated in a 50/50 split to Children on the Edge and The Sussex Snowdrop Trust.
Children on the Edge brings vital support to vulnerable children worldwide.
The Sussex Snowdrop Trust provides nursing care and financial assistance for children with life-threatening illnesses
You can follow Pink Pub to the Arctic Circle on their social media platforms and choose to donate an amount. On social media you can find coverage in the English press, videos from the trip about the fundraising efforts and get to know James Palmer-Bullock better.
The team has also partnered with Veo Technologies to livestream the matches on the tour.
The unique tour with five matches in five countries in five days ends in the beautifully situated Henningsvær Stadium in Lofoten, Norway.
The trip is paid for by each participant and takes place exclusively by public transport (no flights) via Brussels, Hamburg, Copenhagen, Stockholm and finally Henningsvær in the Arctic Circle.
In Copenhagen, the match will be against a selected B.93 senior team on the football grounds at Svanemølleanlægget.
Why B.93?
B.93 were selected as the Danish club in the trip, due to the cultural influence towards the arts that B.93 has pursued over the last couple of years in various collaborations.
Joe Hepworth from The Pink Club team elaborates:
– B.93 was deliberately chosen due to the reflection of this in James’ life. James was a manager for the DJ Max Cooper and started a movement here called The Chamber of Culture, which pushed for the development of people and places in the arts.
– When we learned of Jon Pilkington, his love for Liverpool, like that of James, and how Jon had collaborated with B.93 designing jerseys, it was clear that Boldklubben af 1893 was the perfect club for us to approach.
– We had to reach out, and B.93 was very open to work with us on the trip from the beginning.
– Now, we look very much forward to our experience in Copenhagen and the other cities and countries on the tour.
